  • We are 100% foster based, meaning that we must have a foster lined up and ready for an animal before we are able to take it from a shelter or rescue. We assess the animal and their needs to best set them up for success with their foster family.

  • We pull our animals from local Utah shelters and other animal rescues.

  • At the moment, we are not accepting owner surrenders.

    • Age-To adopt and foster, you must be 18+ years old

Why? Animals with special needs come with inherent responsibility, both emotionally and financially

    • Time-Whether fostering or adopting, you must be able to take the time needed to care for an animal with extra special needs. This can include transporting to/from Vet appointments, to adopters or other fosters, administering meds, etc.

    • Money-if fostering, we will take care of costs. If adopting, know that some animals with medical special needs will have higher associated costs for care and quality of life. Being prepared for this is an important part of adopting.

    • Age-to adopt, you must be 18+ years old

Why? Animals with special needs come with inherent responsibility both emotionally and financially

  • If you see a specific animal on a rescue network, on our website, or elsewhere and are interested in fostering, we will do our best to place that animal with you. Signing up to be a foster means that you may be contacted about fostering in general before we pull an animal in need into the rescue.

  • There isn’t a required amount of time you will be asked to foster, however as we are 100% foster based, the longer you can foster, the better. If an animal isn’t a good fit in your home/family, you won’t be required to keep that animal in foster. If you find another foster caregiver for your animal, that person must be approved prior to fostering.

"To know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded”-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Whatever your reason for rescue, know that it matters. If even one animal can breath easier knowing it is safe and loved, then we have succeeded in our mission.
